BRAINSTORMING MY NEW SPACE

No more than a month ago my family and I moved to a new house. I'm so glad we did since I'll be having more space, but I started fresh, with new furniture, leaving all my old posessions behind. Even though it's not bad, I spend a lot of time in my room and would like to make it feel like an actual home. If I'm going to spend another three years in this town, I will at least try to make the best of it, so I'll start decorating it. For now, I'm just looking for ideas and hopefully I'll get inspired and create my own style. Here are some pictures for inspiration. 

MUSIC FAVORITES // OCTOBER 2014

Autumn has always been my favorite season, I love how everything turns in lovely shades of brown and how the weather just gets colder and life seems better. 

As this month gets me in a chilly mood I have been listening to really soft and slow tracks mainly, but also other upbeated ones.

LIFE'S A BOOK, I'M STARTING TO WRITE MINE

Welcome to my blog aphrodihte. 

My name is Gabriela, I live in Colombia and I am fourteen years old.

I'm a book and culture lover, fashion enthusiast and aspiring entreprenur and architect.
I love traveling, culture, reading, writing, poetry, magazines, medieval things, mythology, monarchy, history, fashion, photography, art, cold weather, music, concerts, coffee, design, iced tea, autumn and food.
Through my blog I hope to inspire someone, with my pictures and my sense of style.

The meaning of my url ''aphrodihte'' is based on the greek goddess Aphrodite, firstly because she's my favorite goddess, secondly because I love mythology and third because she is the goddess of love, beauty and sexual rapture. It may seem selfish at the moment, but I have reasons.

Love, not just romantically, but to self. You have to learn to love yourself, and even though I still in the process of learning to love myself, I wish I could inspire someone and teach them to love themselves.

Beauty, not as in physical beauty, but as every type of beauty out there. I'm perfeccionist and a great observer, so I find beauty in everything. Even in the littlest and most insignificant things, I find a great pleasure, because the world is full of beautiful things. Through my photography and art I hope I can show my readers that beauty I'm talking about.

And last, Sexual rapture, as the wish and pleasure you find in such activities (I have not done it yet but I consideer that's what everyone else feels?), so I'll show you the pleasure that my travels and daily activities bring me.
